About Salvation - Man's Problem: Sin... Man chose to sin against a Holy God and no amount of good works will make a person acceptable in God's sight. (Romans 3:23)
- Sin's Penalty: Death... Separation from God for eternity is the wage we can expect for our choice to sin. (Romans 6:23)
- Christ's Payment: Substitionary Death... Christ was our sinless substitute given by God for us even while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8)
- Our Pardon: Repentance... Turning away from sin and trusting Christ ALONE for salvation brings us into a right relationship with God. (Acts 16:31)
- God's Promise: Eternal Life... When we hear God's Word and believe on Christ we are promised eternal life, not because we deserve the gift but because of God's promise to use. (John 6:47)
About God's Word We believe the Bible is verbally inspired by God and without error in its original writings. Its preservation was promised by God's power and it is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. About God The Father We believe in one God, perfect in Holiness, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit About God The Son We believe that Jesus is the eternal and only Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, sinless in His life, died and resurrected to life by God's power, true God and true man. About God the Holy Spirit We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, of the righteousness of Christ, and of God's judgment to come. He regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, and comforts believers with a primary work of glorifying God the Father and pointing people to Christ. About Baptism We believe baptism was commanded by God as the first step of open obedience after salvation. The scriptural mode is by immersion, symbolizing Christ's death, burial and resurrection. It has no power to save or cleanse from sinfulness. About The Local Church We believe that a local New Testament church should consist of born again, baptized believers that come together for the purpose of worship, preaching, evangelism, discipleship, encouragement and fellowship. About Biblical Separation We believe that Christians are called to a life of moral, personal, and ecclesiastical separation, manifested in lives committed to holiness, pure testimonies for Christ's sake, and focused on unity with other believers unless unbelief, error or apostasy exists. About Satan And Hell We believe Satan is literally and personally the agent of man's fall from innocence, the god of this world, the prince and power of the air and that he and his angels will be punished eternally in hell. Hell was created originally for Satan and demons but also for all those who reject Christ and follow Satan will suffer eternal punishment for that choice.
