On August 15th, 2010 we will be holding Discovery Sunday here at Faith Baptist Church. Very often we invite our friends and neighbors out to church and it is for a special event - the Christmas Cantata, or Evangelistic Meetings, or the Missions Conference. Unfortunately, when we have visitors for those special days, those visitors from our community don't get to see a typical worship service at our church. Discovery Sunday is the remedy for that! This will be a Sunday morning service that is indicative of the very essence of what truly is Faith Baptist Church. We will sing familiar hymns, our pastor will preach, and the choir will be in full force!
Just prior to the worship service, we will be having a brunch fellowship in the Fellowship Hall where the pastoral staff and their families will be available to answer questions and meet the newcomers to our church. The teenagers will have the coffee shop set up and will be providing a wide range of coffee house drinks, from regular coffee to caramel macchiato to a mocha frappucino, all at no charge.
If you have never visited Faith Baptist Church, we welcome you to this event! If you are new to the area and would like to see just what this ministry is all about, we invite you to come! Come be our guest as we invite you to discover who we are, and what we do.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Each of us must decide where we will spend eternity. Jesus Christ has paid the full penalty for your sins on the cross; now you must come to Him just as you are - a guilty sinner unable to save yourself. Commit your life to Christ today!
